MUSEI IN MUSICA 2026

Third edition for the Fondazione Arena di Verona chamber music series with Musei in Musica 2026

More than three centuries of music, featuring both classics and little-known gems performed by members of the Orchestra and, for the first time, also by artists of the Fondazione Arena Choir.

Building on the success of two sold-out editions, the Fondazione Arena di Verona chamber music series Musei in Musica returns in 2026 with an even richer and more wide-ranging programme. From January 25 to November 29, ten Sunday morning concerts at 11 a.m., four of which will be held at Palazzo Maffei, will bring together music and art, presenting great works for small instrumental and vocal ensembles in unique and prestigious settings—halls and spaces immersed in beauty.

The initiative confirms its long-standing synergy with Palazzo Maffei, a partner since the very first edition, as well as with the Municipality of Verona and the Accademia Filarmonica. In 2026, the project expands further thanks to new collaborations with the Biblioteca Capitolare, the Circolo Unificato dell’Esercito, the Accademia di Agricoltura Scienze e Lettere, and the Museo Nicolis.

The programme will feature music by great composers ranging from Bach and Couperin to the twentieth century, including Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Rossini and many others, performed by instrumental and vocal ensembles of the Fondazione Arena di Verona. Concerts will be paired with visits to selected museum collections.
