Getting here

By walk you can reach the museum from Porta Nuova Station to Piazza Delle Erbe in about 20 minutes.

By bus, on weekdays, it is possible to reach the museum with bus lines 11-12-13 (Piazza Bra stop) and bus lines 21-22-23-24-41-42 (Via Diaz 2 / Portoni Borsari stop), on holidays with lines 90-94 (Piazza Bra stop) or lines 93-94-95 (via Diaz 2 / Portoni Borsari stop)

Guided tours

Groups can book guided tours from 10 AM to 5 PM by writing to biglietteria@palazzomaffeiverona.com.
It is possible to book tours in various foreign languages, depending on the availability of guides.
You can arrange guided tours with your own guide by writing to biglietteria@palazzomaffeiverona.com.
You can book a ‘Treasure Hunt’ guided tour for children aged 5 to 12 by writing to biglietteria@palazzomaffeiverona.com.

Audio guide

Available at the Palazzo Maffei ticket office, there is an audio guide by the museum’s curator Gabriella Belli.
The ‘Opening Night‘ audio guide created by Silvia Mercuriali is also available. The narrator’s voice guides each visitor, equipped with their own AirPods or headphones, to follow a party taking place in the Palazzo over the centuries.

Accessibility and family services

The museum is equipped with a lift and ramps which make it accessible to disabled people.
There is a table for changing infants in the bathroom facilities on the first floor of the Museum. 

Cloakroom

Lockers for the free storage of personal items are located next to the ticket office.
Each locker is equipped with a numbered key to be returned when collecting your personal items. Outside of these spaces it is not possible to store your personal items.
The Foundation will not be responsible in case of theft, damage or loss.
Any item may be inspected and refused entry at the discretion of Security.
Umbrellas are not allowed in museum spaces. The deposit is in the cloakroom.

Photos and videos

Photographs without flash are permitted for personal use only.
The use of trestles or telescopic sticks is not permitted. Professional photographs and video recordings must be approved in advance by the foundation by writing to info@palazzomaffeiverona.com.
