Treasure hunts, art labs, and much more!

Discover our year-round Kids & Teens programme: a range of educational and hands-on activities designed to bring young audiences closer to the world of art and museums through play.

TREASURE HUNT

An exciting journey through the museum’s artworks in search of curious details.
This activity aims to introduce younger visitors to art through a time-traveling adventure from ancient to contemporary masterpieces. Observation, memory and problem-solving are key to this engaging experience.
Age: 5 – 12 years
Duration: 1 hour

ART LABS

Creativity and imagination are the heart of our lab series, focusing on iconic works from the museum’s collection.
Art becomes a space for discovery, experimentation, and shared reflection.
Our labs offer a wide variety of activities and are constantly evolving.

Age: 5 – 12 years
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes

  • ART LAB – Beauty is a Ready-Made
What is a ready-made? How can an everyday object become a work of art? Inspired by Claire Fontaine’s site-specific installation in dialogue with La Bagnante by Alessandro Puttinati, this multidisciplinary lab introduces children to a revolutionary artistic practice.

  • ART LAB / Artist Creations
A mixed media art workshop: using collage and different materials, children express their creativity inspired by the great artists featured in the museum.

  • ART LAB / Cloud
A world among the clouds. Who hasn’t imagined shapes in the sky? But what about a cloud in a museum case? Inspired by Cloud by Leandro Erlich, children take a short “floating” tour and create their own artistic pop-up cloud.

  • ART LAB / Animal Family
A lab exploring real and imaginary animals in the museum’s collection. Children will build a diorama where paper animals come to life in a fantastic setting.

  • ART LAB / Traces of Light
Light effects and glowing colours emerging from the dark: inspired by Iridescent Interpenetrations by Giacomo Balla, children create vibrant works celebrating light.

  • ART LAB / Sculptures in the Wind
We often think of sculpture as static, but is it always so?
With paper as their medium, young artists will discover how sculpture can move, transform, and surprise.

  • ART LAB / Museum in Bloom
Nature is full of amazing flowers – floating flowers, night blooms, and even flowers that seem to speak. In this spring-themed lab, children explore floral artworks in the collection and create imaginative botanical art.

INTERACTIVE TOURS

  • Imagining the Invisible – Tour with Lab
An interactive tour filled with small exercises in wonder. Children engage directly with the artworks and stimulate their senses and imagination.
    Age: 6 – 12 years
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes

  • The Science Behind Art – Tour
An interdisciplinary tour that links art and science through works in the collection. Ideal for curious minds interested in both subjects.
    Age: 13 – 19 years
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes

  • Belle Époque and the Historical Avant-Gardes – Tour
A thematic, interactive tour focused on the Belle Époque, Futurism and Avant-Gardes such as Metaphysical Art, Cubism, Dadaism and Surrealism.
    Age: 13 – 19 years
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes
