Family Activities
Laboratori
Palazzo Maffei Casa Museo offers numerous activities for families, such as thematic guided tours of the Collection for adults and children:
The Science Hidden in the Art
We discover how science and art are connected, capturing the attention of both those who are passionate about science and those who love art, demonstrating the transversality of the disciplines.
Women in the Art
Going through centuries of art history, the figure of the woman is analyzed from multiple points of view, reaching her affirmation in society and in the art world.
Fashion at Palazzo Maffei
The relationship between art and fashion is explored from multiple directions: the itinerary starts by recalling how, since the Middle Ages, Verona, together with Florence and Venice, was a renowned center of textile production; continuing through the sixteenth and seventeenth-century Venetian fashion, we arrive at the Belle Époque and the artists of the historic avant-gardes.
Spyglass on Verona
Together we rediscover the history of the city of Verona through the paintings kept inside the House Museum; the itinerary ends admiring the panorama of the city seen from the panoramic terrace.
It is also possible to book workshops and themed tours for children and families in advance, such as the Treasure Hunt.
Treasure hunt
Accompanied by little Tobiolo, protagonist of the first work that welcomes visitors to the halls of Palazzo Maffei, girls and boys discover the wonders hidden in the paintings and objects of the House Museum in an adventurous search: the young explorers will be enveloped in the emotion of discovery and knowledge.
